Local Businesses Get Another Shot at Shreveport Data Center Work
Shreveport contractors, service providers, food vendors, hotel operators and other local businesses have another chance to connect with the massive Northwest Louisiana data center project.
A new Northwest Louisiana Data Center Supplier Outreach Informational Event is set for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center, located at 400 Caddo Street downtown.
Local Vendors Are Being Invited Back
Attorney William Bradford recently told KEEL News that the goal is to keep local businesses plugged into the process as the STACK and Amazon data center projects move forward across Northwest Louisiana.
“We had great turnout in our first two events,” Bradford said, noting that more than 900 vendors attended earlier outreach sessions in February and March.
This next event is designed for companies that want to learn how to do business with the data center projects, especially as construction needs begin to ramp up.
Who Should Attend the Shreveport Event?
Bradford said the event is not just for one kind of business. Contractors, electricians, concrete companies, conduit installers, hotel operators, restaurant owners and food truck operators are among those being encouraged to attend.
The key, Bradford said, is that businesses need to be ready.
“You need to be licensed, bonded and insured,” Bradford said. He added that work experience is preferred because this is not just a beginner’s seminar. It is a chance for established businesses to connect with general contractors and prime subcontractors tied to the project.

Bradford said local participation is a major priority.
“A big part of the benefit of this project is to increase local opportunities in the Northwest Louisiana area,” he said.
That matters because these data center projects are expected to create opportunities beyond the first wave of construction. Bradford said the investment will continue to create needs for years, not just weeks or months.
He also pointed to a Louisiana connection he saw while visiting data centers in Virginia. Inside one building, he noticed a plaque connected to Fiber Bond, a company from Minden.
“We want to have more of those stories here,” Bradford said.

The May 13 event will include presentations from general contractors, including E.E. Reed and ASK, along with opportunities for vendors to speak directly with project representatives.
Bradford said the timeline is moving quickly, but there will still be future opportunities as construction continues. He also said the West Shreveport project is moving forward after the court ruled in favor of allowing the data center to proceed.
