Southern Poker/GCP Tour Brings $300K Championship Week to Bossier City

This is going to be a fast and furious week for poker players across north Louisiana. The Southern Poker/GCP Tour is back at Horseshoe Bossier City for the final week of this monster event. It's time for the grind......the highly anticipated 2026 State Poker Championship.

What Is Up for Grabs

Not only do you get bragging rights, but the total guaranteed prize pools are expected to top the $300,000 mark. This event has already attracted some of the best poker players in the region and more will be headed this way.

Several specialty events are being held including the Seniors Event and the PLO. But the biggie is the $150,000 Guaranteed Main Event. Each day this week you will find a variety of events. And even beginners can jump in and play this week. There's also a rookies event.
