A big meeting is set for Friday in Baton Rouge as a Senate Committee begins the process of drawing new Congressional maps for the state of Louisiana. KEEL News has put together pics of all of the maps lawmakers will be debating out as this process gets started.

The Senate and Governmental Affairs Committee will hash out all the proposed map. This work comes after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in Louisiana v. Callais that the state's 2024 congressional map, which included two majority-Black districts, was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.

The conservative majority found that using race as a predominant factor, even to comply with the Voting Rights Act, violated the 14th Amendment.

But that map is no longer legal. So members of the House and Senate have bills filed to draw new maps.

Take a look at the different proposals.
