It's scary to think that the sitting President of the United States may not be - mentally or physically - up to the demands of the nation's highest office. But that's not as scary as thinking about, if Joe Biden isn't in charge, who really is?

We've all seen the sad spectacle of the President mumble through news conference after news conference, answering questions with non-sequiturs or tales of events that never really happened. Then, with an absent minded wave, he wanders off stage saying (over and over, it seems), "Sorry. They won't let me take questions."

So, the increasingly frightening question is, who's the man - or woman - behind the shell? Who is calling the shots? Who is in charge? Who is really President of the United States?

Theories abound and numerous names come to mind, but we've narrowed it down to three. Here's what they have in common. They're all long time Washington insiders. They know the ins and outs of DC's massive bureaucratic machine. They all understand power and how to wield it. And they're all, politically, far, far to the left.

Ron Klain - Klain is Joe Biden's Chief of Staff. He's an attorney, political consultant, and former lobbyist. He was previously chief of staff to two vice presidents, Al Gore from 1995 to 1999 and Biden from 2009 to 2011. Nobody sees the President without his okay and no issue gets to the President's desk without his seeing it first. How powerful is he? Both Democrats and Republicans call him, "Prime Minister Klain."

John Kerry - The former Senator and failed Presidential candidate is currently the President's Special Envoy for Climate. His connections with the the world's leftist elite (George Soros and the Davos crowd) are well known. It is most likely the Kerry influence that controls the White House major goal, beat the United States into a Euro-style socialist (or worse) nation, using climate change fear-mongering as the hammer.

Barack Obama - Even if Joe Biden were the relatively lucid Senator of the 1980s, there would still be accusations that the former President was really the one pulling the strings on Pennsylvania Avenue. The Obama machine is large, powerful and has tons of cash. And no matter how much of a leftist you thought Obama was when he was in the Oval Office, well, these days he makes Bernie Sanders look like Rand Paul.

So, what do you think? Take the poll. Who - if not Joe Biden - is really running the United States of America?
