Shreveport Man Arrested Following Violent Home Invasion

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a man who is wanted in connection with a violent domestic incident.

Officers responded to a home on College Street after receiving a call about an assault. The investigation determined that Adrianyon Riley Jr. allegedly forced his way into the home after being told he was not allowed inside.

During the incident, Riley is said to have physically assaulted the victim by pushing her into a wall, grabbing her, and knocking her to the floor. The victim had visible injuries and reported losing consciousness during the assault.

Detectives later conducted a follow-up investigation, during which the victim positively identified Riley in a six-person photographic lineup as the individual responsible.

Based on the victim's statement, documented injuries, photographic identification, and the totality of the investigation, detectives established probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Riley.

After a brief search for Riley, SPD's Warrants Unit was able to track him down and execute the warrant, arresting him on Home Invasion and Domestic Violence charges.
