State Representative Cedric Glover talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright about the recent decision by the Louisiana Board of Regents that rejects the need for a Shreveport law school.

The Louisiana Board of Regents conducted a feasibility study of a law school for Shreveport in different legislative resolutions by area legislators Rep. Cedric Glover and Sen. Barrow Peacock..

A small part of the Regents report from shreveporttimes.com:

"... there is little compelling evidence that a new law school is warranted in the Shreveport/Bossier region," the study presented to the regents Wednesday concluded. "The state does not have a capacity problem — it has a distribution problem."

Glover, a longtime proponent of the law school plan, says he will not give up saying, "This was the first step (in a process) that will neither be smooth or easy."
