The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame for Division III has selected four inductees for this year's class. And one of them is Dr. Daniel Henderson, Centenary's Assistant Professor of Exercise Science. Dr. Henderson is a 1980 graduate of Wheaton College, where he ran on the cross country team. From 1983 to 1987, he ran under contract for Nike and was considered a world-class runner, posting one of the fastest times in the world for a given year. He started teaching at Centenary in 2005. He and the other three inductees will be honored later this year at the NCAA Division III Track Championships.
