Shreveport Man Arrested After Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

Shreveport Police Officers conducting directed patrol in the area of Broadway Avenue and Henry Street stopped a vehicle for failing to properly use a turn signal.

During the investigation, Roshan Tyler allegedly attempted to run from officers on foot. Officers quickly caught up with Tyler, and a Taser was used to stop Tyler during the apprehension.

Further investigation led officers to find suspected crack cocaine and other drugs believed to be packaged for distribution.

Tyler was arrested and now faces:

· Two counts of Possession of Schedule II Narcotics with Intent to Distribute

· One count of Possession of Schedule I Narcotics with Intent to Distribute

· No Driver’s License

· Resisting an Officer

What started with a turn signal ended with suspected hard-drugs off the street and another arrest.
