Fans in Shreveport had a special treat this past weekend. In addition to Ninja Turtles and scary clowns, actor Barry Bostwick made an appearance at Geek’d Con inside the Shreveport Convention Center.

Best known for his iconic role as Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and as Mayor Randall Winston on the hit sitcom Spin City, Bostwick brought star power and nostalgia to one of the city’s biggest fan events. 

A Career Full of Favorites 

Bostwick’s career spans decades across film, television, and stage. In addition to his breakout role in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, he earned acclaim for performances in Spin City alongside Michael J. Fox, as well as appearances in popular series such as Cougar TownPsych, and Law & Order: SVU. His versatility has made him a household name, and his Shreveport visit gave fans the rare opportunity to connect with him face-to-face.

Shreveport’s Weekend With a Star 

At Geek’d Con, Bostwick spent time signing autographs, taking photos, and greeting attendees with the same charisma that made him a Hollywood favorite. Fans shared stories of watching Rocky Horror for the first time or remembering his quick wit on Spin City. His presence added an extra layer of excitement to the convention floor, where nostalgia and fandom collided.
