Additional Charges Added in Serial Vehicle Burglary Investigation in Shreveport

The Shreveport Police Department Property Crimes Unit continues its investigation into a large number of vehicle burglaries.

As the investigation continued, SPD Detectives looked at security camera footage from two series of vehicle burglaries that occurred earlier this month, at the Holiday Inn Express on Interstate Drive, and the Comfort Inn & Suites on Healthplex Drive. Investigators determined the same two men were involved in both series of burglaries.

Through further investigation, detectives identified Warren Dewaye Williams as the second individual believed to have participated in the burglaries alongside Johnathan Johntavian Winslow (pictured).

Additional arrest affidavits have now been submitted for Williams, totaling:

· 18 additional counts of Simple Burglary

· 2 additional counts of Theft of a Firearm

These charges are in addition to the extensive charges already developed against Winslow as Property Crimes investigators continue working through numerous related cases.
