The State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport is now open and you're sure to find lots of fun and exciting things to do on the midway, at the zoo, on the concert stage, and on the fairgrounds in general this weekend.

The opening weekend of the State Fair was a good one. General Manager Chris Giordano says more than 3 thousand people came through the gates on Saturday alone. He says the crowds were even bigger on Sunday. The Fair is closed on Monday and Tuesday, but will be back open on Wednesday.
