Changes For The State Fair

A new amusement ride operator has been hired to run the rides at the State Fair of Louisiana this year. 

Family-owned Crabtree Amusements from Staples, Texas will run things this year.  They take over from Lowery Carnival which has had the contract for several years.  At last years fair, 5-year-old SJ Lewis suffered critical injuries when he got trapped under one of the kiddie rides.  A lawsuit is still pending against Lowery and the State Fair.
