Shreveport fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of three house fires that occurred on the same street in Ledbetter Heights early this morning.

It took Shreveport firefighters more than 30 minutes to control a fire in a vacant house in the 2700 block of Bibb Street.

Two residential fires in less than two hours have meant a very busy Tuesday evening for Bossier City firefighters.

An early Monday morning fire has claimed one life in Shreveport.

A Sunday morning fire has caused considerable damage to a house in the 4800 block of Camellia Lane in Bossier City. Firefighters got the call just before 8 a.m. and arrived to find flames coming from the rear of the house and heavy smoke pouring from the eaves.

Shreveport firefighters were called to a reported house fire in the 4300 block of Wildwood Drive just after 7:30 Sunday morning.  When they got there, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.

Shreveport fire investigators are looking into the cause of an early-morning house fire that killed a 25-year-old man. Firefighters were called to a house fire just before 3:30 this morning in the 3000 block of West Cavett Street.

House fire caused 15-grand worth of damage.

The second residential fire in as many days has heavily damaged one side of a duplex in the 2500 block of Broadway Drive.

A Saturday afternoon fire in the 400 Block of Summit Drive has heavily damaged a two-story house. Bossier City firefighters found heavy smoke and flames coming from a room and exterior porch on the second floor.
