The luncheon, scheduled for 11:30 to 1 at Horseshoe Casino and Hotel's Riverdome, will present former DEA agent Pamela Brown as this year's featured speaker. The theme of Brown's talk will be "Common Women on Uncommon Ground."

Here's more on Brown from eventbrite.com:

"As a special agent with DEA, Pamela’s work included undercover assignments, organizing and implementing high-level drug operations, and cultivating informants. She will address the importance of women supporting women and how she uses her experiences to help cultivate women equality and success."
