YWCA Executive Director Details Domestic Violence Forum

Dr. Belinda Roberson, Executive Director at Shreveport's YWCA of Northwest Louisiana, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about that organization's upcoming forum on domestic violence.

The forum, scheduled for Thursday, January 31, will be held at the YWCA at 850-B Olive Street in Shreveport.

"Join the YWCA of Northwest Louisiana for the Stop the Violence Forum in an effort to draw attention and action to the recent incidents of domestic violence in Shreveport and Bossier City. This forum will focus on the recent deadly incidents of violence against women that have occurred in northwest Louisiana.

Panelists from Project Celebration, the Family Justice Center, the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Victim Assistance Program and the YWCA of Northwest Louisiana will address these issues as well as discuss suggestions for change and action."
