Bossier Parish Sheriff Arrests Haughton High School Band Director

Former Haughton High School Band Director Kevin Williams faces 100 Felony charges following an investigation into allegations of sex offenses against juveniles. Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives arrested the 56-year-old at their Criminal Operations Building.

According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, the arrest stems from an adult victim reporting sexual abuse that allegedly spans a period of years. The reported incidents occurred while the victim was a high school student enrolled in the Haughton High School, and a part of the band program.

Bossier Schools Superintendent Addresses Haughton Attest

Bossier Schools Superintendent Jason Rowland confirmed Kevin Williams is no longer employed by the school system. The district is cooperating with the Bossier Parish Sheriff Office during the active investigation. Rowland was quoted saying:

“We are both shocked and saddened to learn of these charges brought forth and are fully cooperating in this ongoing investigation with the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office...Student safety is always our top concern, and we want parents and the Haughton community to know Mr. Williams is no longer an employee of Bossier Schools as of today. It is understandable that students at Haughton High may have questions or concerns, and we encourage them to please talk with our school counselors, who are there for them.”

The Investigation In Haughton Is Ongoing

Kevin Williams is currently held at the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility with a bond set at $750,000. He is booked on 50 counts of Molestation of a Juvenile and 50 counts of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.
