Vivian Man Arrested for Rape

A Vivian man has been arrested for rapes that allegedly occurred more than four decades ago.  

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says 69-year-old Earl Sheppard McGee is accused of having sex with a minor on numerous occasions between 1969 and 1980.  The victim recently disclosed the abuse and notified the sheriff's office.  After questioning by detective Jared Marshall, McGee was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of aggravated rape.
