Shreveport Police Find Stolen Gun on a Burglary Suspect

Shreveport Police arrested a man on active warrants connected to multiple property-crime investigations.

A concerned citizen contacted police after seeing information on social media and reported that Trevell Jackie Ray Tyler was at Ants Urban Lounge. Officers responded to the business, found Tyler and confirmed that he was the wanted individual.

During the arrest, SPD Officers also discovered that Tyler was in possession of a stolen gun. He was taken into custody without further incident and booked on the outstanding warrants, along with additional charges unrelated to the original investigations.

Tyler faces the following charges:

-Five counts of simple burglary

-Two counts of access device fraud

-One count of principal to access device fraud

-Resisting and officer

-Possession of a Stolen Firearm
