Shreveport Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Missouri Avenue near Pershing Street at 9:43 p.m. Shreveport Police officers said that an altercation at the Louisiana State Fair spilled out in to the street. The fighting continued on to Missouri Avenue near The Boys and Girls Club.

A 21 year old man was shot in the leg, and a 60 year old man was shot in the thigh. Both men were taken to the hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.

Shreveport police and fire had over 10 units at the location to investigate the incident. No suspects have been arrested at this time, though witnesses helped police to aid with the suspect's identities.
