November 9th was a sad day for the Louisiana State Fair and Shreveport in general as massive brawls interrupted what should have been a perfect Saturday.
Twenty-year-old Klarissa Graves was seriously injured when she was thrown from a ride at the Louisiana State Fair during its closing weekend. Graves suffered two spinal fractures and a break near her hip. Investigators are currently looking into the cause behind the accident.

Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw say a drug operation at the Louisiana State Fair netted three carnival workers and five fair-goers.
