Shreveport Man Arrested After Drug and Gun Complaints

VCAT investigators conducted an investigation at the Villa Del Lago Apartments on Milam Street after complaints about openly handling guns and drugs.

During the investigation, detectives found narcotics-related evidence along with one loaded handgun from inside the apartment.

Quantravion Rhodes was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on these charges:

• Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance

• Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance

The Shreveport Police have been working hard to take these types of operations out of commission. Drug activity paired with guns will eventually lead to violence, injury, and death.
