
Shreveport Man Arrested on Human Trafficking, Child Exploitation, and Drug Charges
A coordinated multi-agency operation on Thursday, August 13, 2026, culminated in the arrest of a Shreveport man facing numerous felony charges involving child sexual exploitation, illegal narcotics, and firearms violations.
Joint Operation Targets Child Exploitation
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit and VICE Unit joined forces with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to execute search and arrest warrants connected to an ongoing investigation.
Authorities took Johnny Cannon into custody during the operation.
