Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Sexually Assaulting Juvenile

Shreveport Police had been on the hunt for this guy after reports were made about him raping a juvenile who was under his care.

Melvin Robinson was finally caught last week after a warrant for first-degree rape was put out for his arrest. Robinson was named in an investigation involving a young victim who claimed in interviews with Police that they were sexually assaulted by Robinson while he was entrusted to care for the juvenile.

Robinson was arrested and charged with first-degree rape following a search for him.
