Shreveport Police Seeking Two in Separate Sex Crime Cases

The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are on the hunt for 2 people suspected of sex crimes.

Back in 2024 SPD Detectives started an investigation. It was reported that 20 year-old Elijah Jones was involved in sexual activity with a 14 year-old. The victim was interviewed at the Gingerbread House where they gave details about the sexual assault. A warrant was issued for Jones for Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.

In a separate case, back in February SPD got a report of a sexual assault involving several people. Detectives found that Kaliyah Washington used social media to send explicit images of a person who did not give her permission to do so. The person in the picture is identifiable. A court-authorized Meta warrant was used to discover that the account that shared the picture belonged to Washington.
