Rick Seaton Trial Continues Today

A former top aide to Mayor Cedric Glover is headed back to court today. Rick Seaton is accused of raping an 18-year-old woman after the 2010 Independence Bowl. She is expected to testify about what happened. The Georgia woman says she had asked Seaton to help

her after her boyfriend had gotten arrested at the game. Seaton took the woman to city hall where he allegedly assaulted her in the Mayor's office. Seaton was fired shortly after police learned about the incident. Much of the case centers on whether or not the sex was consensual. Seaton has waived his right to a jury trial and the case is being heard by Judge Ramona Emmanuel.
