Learn About Greek Culture This Weekend

Wanna learn more about Greek culture? You'll have a chance this weekend. It's the Greek and More Festival, going on Friday through Sunday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Creswell Avenue in Shreveport. It features Greek music playing all three days and nights, Hellenic dancing, church tours and presentations, Greek food -- including gyros -- and even assorted Greek pastries. And the kids will have plenty of activities to participate in, too. Admission is $3 per day, or $5 for all three days. Hours are Friday 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
