Fraggle Rock Live: Jim Henson’s Back To The Rock Tour Heads To Shreveport

The Gen X and Millennial parents who spent Saturday mornings immersed in 80s and 90s pop culture can now share those iconic childhood memories with their own families...in-person. The Jim Henson Company is bringing Fraggle Rock Live directly to Downtown Shreveport!

The official "Back To The Rock" tour brings fan favorite characters Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober out of the television screen and onto the live stage. Not only is this going to be a great way for families to have a night out, but its going to land right into the mix for the area's Halloween celebrations.

On top of that, the Shreveport show is currently the only scheduled tour stop within Louisiana state lines...making the late October arrival a major highlight for regional entertainment seekers.

Fraggle Rock Live At The Strand Theatre In Shreveport

The live Fraggle Rock experience will be at The Strand Theatre in Downtown Shreveport on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Landing just two nights before Halloween, which gives area residents a special seasonal event to add to their Halloween schedules.

The production showcases life-sized walkaround puppets, immersive visual effects, and music developed alongside The Jim Henson Creature Shop. The storyline follows the characters as they navigate an interactive quest to locate a hidden artifact in order to throw a massive celebration.

Fraggle Rock Live Ticket Info And Pre-Show VIP Packages

There are general admission tickets for the historic downtown venue, and attendees wanting a more complete experience can add a VIP upgrade package onto their entry pass.

The VIP pass grants early admission into the venue (90 minutes before the main show starts). The Back To The Rock Live VIP Meet and Greet pass holders gain access to a pre-show hang out with the characters. We're talking high fives, hugs, and one-on-one time with your favorite Fraggle.
