Shreveport City Councilwoman LeVette Fuller talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty, giving her thoughts on the current state of the billion-dollar-plus Cross Bayou development proposal.

Fuller also brings KEEL listeners up to date on current plan by Councilman Willie Bradford that, according to the District A representative, "would authorize the mayor to enter into good faith negotiations with Gateway (Development Corporation) to see if the parties can reach an agreement to acquire property needed to develop Cross Bayou"

The councilwoman, who has been critical of the $1.5 billion dollar development idea, continues to express skepticism as a council vote approaches, citing concerns about the roles of government and the private sector in funding the development of Shreveport's downtown.
