Big Honor for Shreveport’s Mayor
A prestigious award for Shreveport's mayor. Tomorrow, Mayor Cedric Glover will receive the Seven Seals Award from Employer Support of Guard and Reserve, to formally recognize his role as an advocate for relevant initiatives related to guard and reserve employees. The award will be presented by retired Colonel W. James Hill, III, in an 11 a.m. ceremony in the Mayor's Conference Room at Government Plaze. Hill is a local attorney who also serves as northwest area chairman for ESGR and civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army and State of Louisiana. This marks the first time a mayor in this region has received this award.
