
Chicken Products Sold at Louisiana Grocery Stores Are Recalled
SHREVEPORT, LA – Might want to check your Louisiana freezer for some recalled meat. Some frozen chicken products sold at a discount grocery chain with several locations in Louisiana have been recalled for possible contamination.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued the recall alert over the weekend.
This chicken recall impacts Casa Mamita frozen chicken & cheese taquitos sold at Aldi. Aldi has 17 locations in Louisiana.
These chicken taquitos are made by Bestway Sandwiches in California.

This USDA recall affects taquitos produced between July 3, 2024, and Sept. 25, 2024.
The impacted products include 20 oz. carton packages with Best By Dates of July 3, 2025 and Sept. 25, 2025.
One customer complained about a piece of metal in the taquitos. The USDA also reports another consumer reportedly suffered a "dental injury" from the taquitos. No details on the extent of this injury was released.
People should check their freezers to see if they bought these taquitos. The cartons should either be thrown away or returned to Aldi.
