Shreveport Police Arrest Two Suspects Wanted for An Armed Robbery

Shreveport Police have arrested both suspects in connection with an armed robbery that happened earlier this month on Vine Street.

Through their investigation, detectives identified Donald Reyenga as one of the individuals involved in the robbery. Reyenga was taken into custody his warrant and will be booked into the Shreveport City Jail..

Detectives have now also arrested Sunny Dawn Rey, who was also wanted in connection with the incident.

Investigators learned that the victim was taken to a local hospital after reportedly being hit in the head during the robbery, causing a laceration that required stitches.

Prior to the incident, the victim, who knew Rey, had allegedly received threatening phone calls demanding money and threatening that he would be hurt if he did not pay.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from the area and identified Reyenga and Rey at the scene during the robbery.
