The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist on North Market Street.

Deputies were called by Caddo Fire District One about a major crash involving a gray sedan and a bicyclist. When CPSO got to the scene, Deputies found an unresponsive male in the road.

He was taken to the Caddo Correctional Center and booked on charges of Driving While Intoxicated - 2nd Offense and Vehicular Homicide.

Northbound Highway 1 was entirely shut down at the crash location while Deputies conducted their investigation.
