This Weekend is “Free Fishing Weekend”

Want to go fishing but you don't have a fishing license?  No problem.  

This Saturday and Sunday are Louisiana's free fishing weekend -- a time when you don't need a license to fish on any of the state's public waters.  However, all fishing regulations still apply.

The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries sees this as a way to introduce newcomers, visitors, and people with rusty fishing skills to one of Louisiana's most popular pass-times.  Hope you catch a big one!
