They've been in training for the last six months -- now fifteen new agents have joined the ranks of the louisiana department of wildlife and fisheries enforcement division. These are the folks who enforce hunting, fishing, and boating regulations that govern the use of the state's natural resources. Their duties include checking hunters, fishermen, dealers, restaurants, breeders, farmers, and transporters for compliance with regulations governing limits, quotas, licenses, sizes, registrations, legal documents, and accepted behavior. The agents are also trained for search and rescue and maritime security missions.
