Gasoline Prices Climbing

The price at the pump has spiked up ten cents in the past week. Last Monday morning we were paying — on average — $3.38 for a gallon of regular gasoline in Shreveport/Bossier. Today, AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report says we’re paying $3.48. That’s still nine-cents less than we were paying a month ago but it’s almost a dollar more than we were paying a year ago. Statewide, the average is $3.52. Nationally, it’s $3.63.
