Most Memorial Day Travelers Trekking By Car, Gas Prices Staying Steady

Memorial Day weekend is a major weekend for traveling for many families.  But this year, 89% of travelers will be making the trip by car.

AAA's Don Redman says many people are using the family car instead of a plane because of the flexibility a vehicle offers and the burdensome fees that go with flying.

It is also good news for those looking to travel by car.  Gasoline prices across the Ark-La-Tex should stay steady, between $3.30 and $3.45 per gallon.
