Woman Drowns in Shreveport Apartment Complex Pool

A tragedy in Shreveport. Shreveport Fire Department was called out at 2:53 p.m. to the Olde Salem Village Apartments on Buncombe Rd for a reported drowning. Shreveport Police along with the Fire Department were dispatched to the scene where they were quickly able to locate the victim.

Upon arrival Shreveport Fire Department located the 42-year-old woman unresponsive in the pool. EMS arrived and noted that the woman was not breathing. EMS quickly transported the woman to a local hospital where she was tragically pronounced dead on arrival.
