Shreveport Water Problems Force School to Close Early
SHREVEPORT, LA - The City of Shreveport is experiencing water issues causing low water pressure for some customers on the west side of the city.
Because of the water troubles, classes were dismissed early at Huntington High School. Caddo School board officials sent out this notice:
Our team has been working with city personnel who have indicated they are working to identify the cause of the water pressure drop. Currently, there is not an estimated restoration time. Huntington parents may pick up their children at this time or authorize their students to check out. Buses will be arriving within the hour to begin picking up students and taking them home.

Water should be restored to normal pressure levels by sometime later today.
