Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos August 8th-14th

This week, 76 people were booked and kept at Caddo Correctional Center for Various Crimes.

One of those booked was arrested while stealing from Circle K, then was found to be a suspect in another burglary.

Shreveport Police Department responded to the Circle K on Olive Street regarding a theft that had just happened.

The clerk at Circle K told Police that a man entered the business, selected several snacks, filled a fountain drink, and left the store without paying. The stolen merchandise included three packages of small donuts, two packages of honey buns, one package of pound cake, and a fountain drink, with a value of around 20 dollars.

The suspect was described as a white male with long, curly blonde hair, wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, gray shorts, and black shoes.

A Patrol Officer searched the surrounding area but was initially unable to find the suspect. A short time later, the Same Officer saw a man matching the description return to the same Circle K. The suspect was detained and identified as John Alex Jordan.

Further investigation revealed Jordan was also a suspect in the recent burglary of the Elks Lodge, during which several items were stolen from the business. Jordan was subsequently charged in connection with that investigation as well.

Officers also found that Jordan had an outstanding theft warrant stemming from another case.

Jordan now faces one count of Theft and one count of Simple Burglary, in addition to the previously outstanding Theft warrant.

Jordan was taken into custody and booked on the applicable charges.
