Three People Arrested for Series of Shreveport Armed Robberies

Three suspects have been linked to at least six robberies of Shreveport businesses over a two-month period.

Detectives say 24-year-old Joseph Chisolm, 24-year-old Akeem Reed and 24-year-old Dominique Washington have been charged for their alleged roles in robberies at three Dollar General stores, one Family Dollar, a Circle K and a Burger King between March 24 and April 11.

Information gathered suggests Chisolm and Reed actively participated in the heists, while Washington served primarily as the driver of the getaway vehicle.

Investigators continue to look into similar cases where other businesses were robbed under similar circumstances. Anyone with information that might help is asked to call police at 318-673-6955.
