Shreveport Man Wanted: Sex Crimes Against Child Under 13
Shreveport Police Department detectives are searching for 36-year-old Christopher D. Christaw after he failed to report for a mandatory interview regarding an ongoing child sex crime investigation.

Though Christaw agreed to turn himself in for questioning, he did not appear on his scheduled date.
Arrest Warrant Issued for Multiple Felonies
As detectives continued their investigation, they discovered that Christaw has a prior conviction for a sexual offense. On July 9, 2026, police successfully obtained an arrest warrant charging Christaw with the following counts:
- One count of sexual battery of a child under the age of 13
- One count of indecent behavior with a juvenile
Authorities note that Christaw is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
