Three Injured In Cedar Grove Shooting

A late night shooting in the Cedar Grove neighborhood has left 3 people injured. On November 9, 2020 just before 10:00 p.m., Shreveport Police responded to the 400 block of Browning Street relative to a shooting. This location is near the 8000 block of Linwood. When officers arrived, they located three adult victims that had been struck multiple times by gunfire.

The victims, Christopher Kemp age 33, Demonya Ashley age 27, and Toneesha Green age 30. All of the victims were transported to Ochsner LSU Health with serious injuries. Detectives with the Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Unit were summoned to this location and began interviewing multiple witnesses and collecting evidence.

Preliminary investigation suggests that, 2 black males were seen firing shots from an older model white Nissan sedan as the vehicle approached Downing Street.
