Third Teen Suspect In Family Dollar Store Robbery In Custody

Shreveport Police Robbery Detectives were successful in apprehending the last of three suspects responsible for an afternoon robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar Store located in the 3800 block of Linwood Avenue on Monday September 12, 2011.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday September 13, 2011, an ongoing investigation led detectives to an address in the 2000 block of Murray Street.  On arrival at the address, detectives were able to locate and arrest 17 year old Zarayvious Simpson of Shreveport, charging him with one count of armed robbery, possession of a stolen firearm and a host of other charges.  Investigators developed Simpson as a suspect after reviewing information obtained from witnesses and following up on leads. 18 year old Coby Jamison and a 15 year old juvenile were arrested on yesterday in connection to the armed robbery.  

Simpson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail without incident.  Outstanding job by the Tactical Robbery Unit for their swift capture of these three violent offenders.
