Shreveport Teen Found Dead in Apartment Complex Pool

Shreveport Police received a call Sunday (4/24/22) evening from The Arbors Apartments in the 9100 block of Mansfield Road just before 7:10 p.m. When Police arrived on the scene, they discovered the unresponsive teen who had been found at the bottom of the apartment complex swimming pool.

The Caddo Coroner's Office has released the name of the teen that died in the incident.

"Christian Muliira, 15, was found at the bottom of an eight-foot deep pool at an apartment complex in the 9100 block of Mansfield Road just before 7:10 p.m. He was transported to the Willis-Knighton South emergency room where he was pronounced deceased at 7:39 p.m."

Police are currently investigating this tragedy, and information will be updated as more is forthcoming.

An autopsy was ordered.
