
Shreveport Teen Arrested for Shooting Into Occupied Apartment
On November 8, 2021, after 3:30 a.m., Shreveport Police responded to the 6700 block of Raspberry Lane on reports of multiple shots being fired into an apartment at the complex. Officers learned that three people at the residence had allegedly been threatened by a 17-year-old male juvenile following a disagreement. As the juvenile departed, he fired multiple shots into the apartment building. Nobody was injured during the melee.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit followed up on the matter and through their investigation they developed information and evidence that led them to develop a suspect in the matter. They were able to locate the juvenile the following day (11-9-2021) and took him into custody without incident. The juvenile was charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and three counts of Illegal Use of a Weapon. He was booked into the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center on his charges
