SHREVEPORT, LA-    Shreveport Police Arrest Local Teacher on Charges Involving a Minor

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested David Hoey (DOB: 01/03/64) on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile following an investigation into inappropriate conduct involving a Caddo Parish student.

Hoey was taken into custody on October 28 with the cooperation of Caddo Parish Schools. Following the investigation, the school district has since terminated his employment.

Shreveport Police are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all students and will continue to work closely with Caddo Parish Schools to ensure the protection of our community's youth.
