Shreveport Pedestrian Seriously Injured When Struck by Vehicle

Shreveport Police and Shreveport Fire Department, were on scene of a vehicle/pedestrian accident, which left a male seriously injured. This crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 5700 block Lakeshore Drive near the corner of Jewella Avenue.

When first responders arrived on scene they located a male lying on the ground bleeding and suffering from a broken leg and additional injuries to his body. He was transported to Ochsner Health Hospital to be treated for those injuries. His injuries are described as serious and possible life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene throughout the on-scene investigation.

This incident is currently under investigation. The victims name has yet to be released. This article will be updated as more information is forthcoming.

This incident remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
