The Shreveport Police Department conducted an operation on Friday August 19th, 2022, to combat Human Trafficking in our area. The operation resulted in eight arrests of individuals for human trafficking and prostitution related offenses.

Below is the list of offenders arrested for soliciting a prostitute:

PIPKINS, DAMIEN ROCEAN, Race: B, 05/16/1981, Sex: M

CARROLL, DEMICHAEL P, Race: B, 10/07/1993, Sex: M

GUADRON, CHRIS A, Race: HS, 04/27/1996, Sex: M

JONES, ALVIN R, Race: B, 12/30/1982, Sex: M

EDISON, RYAN C, Race: W, 05/11/1989, Sex: M

KENNEDY, PAUL A, Race: B, 11/07/1968, Sex: M

Below is the list of offenders arrested for prostitution:

BAILEY, MARISSA, Race: W, 02/04/1994, Sex: F

Below is the list of offenders arrested for human trafficking:

SANSTRA, TASHIA, Race: HS, 10/24/2002, Sex: F

A study from the United Nations’ International Labor Organization estimated 3.8 million adults and 1 million children were victims of forced sexual exploitation in 2016 around the world. The vast majority of sex trafficking victims are women and girls, though men, boys, trans, intersex and nonbinary individuals can be victims as well. The International Labor Organization estimates that 99% of the adults and children forced into sexual exploitation in 2016 are female.
