Shooting In Shreveport’s Ingleside Neighborhood Under Investigation

Shreveport Police currently investigating a shooting that happened Friday evening in the Ingleside neighborhood.

On January 29, 2021, around 3:25 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a shooting on the corner of Regent Street and Portland Avenue. Officers located one person suffering from gunshot wounds to their body. The victim were transported to Ochsner LSU Health to be treated for their injuries.

Violent Crimes investigators were summoned to the scene. Officers located several shell casings in the street.
