Sen. Milkovich Sponsors Teacher Forum Tonight

State Senator John Milkovich talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his education forum for area teachers, coming up tonight at 7 at Centenary College's Whited Room.

Milkovich tells KEEL listeners that the specific purpose of the forum is to discuss the Common Core curriculum and its damaging effects on education across the state. Milkovich also plans to tackle what he calls "the legitimacy of John White" as Louisiana education boss.

The Senator also goes into depth on how influences from outside the state, specifically billionaire (and former NYC Mayor) Michael Bloomberg are buying influence and promoting the Common Core agenda, not only in Louisiana, but across the USA.
